I am the Chief Data & Analytics Officer for Chase and J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. In this capacity, I’m responsible for advancing a culture of data-driven decision-making and innovation across Consumer, Small Business and Wealth Management businesses.

Over the course of my career, I’ve focused on building and transforming analytic organizations in the U.S. and globally. Before my current role, I was the Head of Decision Sciences for Chase and Wealth Management, using analytics, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to deliver growth, enhance sales, marketing and distribution, and improve the customer experience.

So, what trails are we blazing in Data & Analytics at Chase? Our goals are ambitious, including a 50% increase in the data that’s accessible in the public cloud by the end of 2023, realizing greater value from our ML and AI models over the next five years, and ensuring that more of our published data is meeting our modernization standards.

We’re laser-focused on the customer experience. You might even say that we’re obsessed with our customers. We place enormous emphasis on knowing our customers better so we can support them in real time and anticipate their evolving preferences. To that end, we’re driving increased automation and the use of ML and AI. We’re making sure that we’re collecting the right data and making it easy to find.

Before joining Chase, I was the Chief Analytics Officer at Santander U.S., responsible for building the data and analytics organizations across five businesses, including the retail bank. I also spent 10 years at Citigroup in the Global Consumer Bank and Retail Services, most recently as the Global Head of Analytics & Insights for Latin America and Mexico. I’ve also held roles at GE Capital and Wells Fargo & Company.

Throughout my travels in world of finance and banking technology, I’ve never been part of such a far-reaching and ambitious agile transformation and data modernization journey. With Chase’s size and scale, we’re able to marshal significant resources to help us answer the thorniest data problems of today (and tomorrow). And the work we do has an immediate impact on our customers — with 44 million active mobile customers and 59 million on digital overall, our work has the potential to reach a lot of people.

I invite you to explore what we’re working today on and what’s next at Chase.
